I was born on February 23rd, 2006, in Ponte Vedra, Florida, next to the TPC Sawgrass golf course. After many moves and one too many Colorado winters, here I am, on Maui. I’ve played piano since I was four and still enjoy learning various classical pieces along with some other genres, such as jazz. In fifth grade, I picked up the alto saxophone, which I play infrequently when inspiration strikes, including on Boulder, Colorado’s fabled Pearl Street in the past. I also write, but mostly have writers’ block. I do watercolor and acrylic painting, as well as experimenting with mediums like wood, concrete, and plaster. I am a de facto, admittedly amateur photographer whenever my Iphone is in my hand and something catches my eye. My camera roll is swollen with nudes of my cats, scary Colorado weather, wildlife, and interesting textures.
Once upon a time I dreamed of being a professional equestrian showjumper. Unfortunately, I now admit that I had neither the 10,000 hour time investment nor the fat bank account to achieve that, and have since cooked down my aspirations to a general goal of freedom – to do what I please with my life, at the moment including art, piano, painting, watersports, reading, and trying various foods. I discovered a love for structural engineering stemming from a long-wrought interest in architecture and STEM, which I am studying at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa now. I’ll get back to horseback riding whenever I can; for now, I’m more than content with the struggle to learn wing foiling, which in fact is comparable to negotiating with a large live animal anyway.
Please enjoy this conglomeration of my projects and thoughts.
